Sylvie Naar-King

Dr. Sylvie Naar-King is Associate Professor and serves as Vice Director of the Pediatric Prevention Research Center at Wayne State University. After acquiring doctorate degree in clinical psychology at University of Colorado in 1993, Dr. Naar-King has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, 5 books and chapters, which focus on motivational intervention targeting multiple risks in youth living with HIV, systematic mechanism between  HIV-related stigma and mental health, and problem behavior of youth living with HIV. She has being served as PI and co-PI for two NIH-funded projects focusing on health disparities reduction intervention among adolescent with asthma and weight loss intervention on African-American adolescents.

Naar-King 博士是美国韦恩州立大学的副教授，也是该大学儿科预防研究中心的副主任。自1993年美国科罗拉多大学获得临床心理学博士学位后，她发表了超过70篇学术论文，5本学术专著（包括书内章节）。她的研究主要关注于利用动机性访谈技术在感染艾滋病的青少年人群中针对多种（行为）危险因素进行干预，艾滋病相关歧视和心理健康之间的系统性机制，以及艾滋病青少年患者的危险行为等。Naar-King 博士作为项目负责人或合作者参与主持了两项NIH资助项目，项目内容包括减少在青少年哮喘病患者中存在的医疗不平等和美国非洲裔青少年人群中减轻体重的干预研究。
