Dr. Hong is an Associate Professor in Public Health and the interim Department Head of Health Promotion and Community Health Science at Texas A&M University. She acquired her doctorate degree at School of Public Health in John Hopkins University in 2007. She is especially interested in several Health and behavioral research fields, including behavioral intervention for people affected by HIV/STI, mobile health intervention, comparative Global Health Research, and mixed methods research on behavioral change. As an outstanding and productive scholar, she has authored or co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and served as the reviewer for 14 health-related Journals. In addition, Dr. Hong works as PI or co-PI on 17 nationally funded program addressing health behavioralinterventionsamong at –risk population in US and China.

洪艳博士是美国德州农机大学公共卫生学院的副教授和健康促进与社区健康科学系的系主任。洪艳博士于2007年在约翰霍普金斯 大学公共卫生学院获得博士学位。她的研究涉及健康和健康行为的多个领域，包括HIV/STI 患者的行为干预，利用移动电子技术开展健康行为干预，全球健康的比较研究，和运用综合研究方法研究行为改变等。洪艳博士已发表60多篇学术论文，为14家健康相关杂志进行审稿工作。她独立或合作主持了17个国家资助项目，在中国和美国的高危人群中开展健康行为干预。
